Salmon Standards
The Certified Quality Salmon Programme is open to the international salmon industry.
The Certification Mark is the SEAFOOD TRUST Product Certification mark.
The standards have been developed by expert panels including all parts of the supply chain,
regulators, research institutes and the Consumer Association.
There are Standards for the production chain for:
- Quality / Product Integrity
- Organic Production
- Eco-label / Sustainable Production
Regional Distinction
The Certified Quality Salmon Framework can be used to create regional identity if required.

The Irish Quality Salmon Programme is a private Irish Standard.
It has a distinct quality mark. The Quality mark can only be used by Certified Irish Companies.
The Quality mark was developed to allow customers to easily identify Irish Quality Salmon. |

The Label Rouge Programme is a private French Standard. It has has a distinct quality Mark. The mark can only be used by Certified Members of the Label Rouge Quality Group
