Certified Quality Salmon Programme

The Certified Quality Salmon Programme has been in existence for over seven years and  now has membership in Ireland, England, Scotland and Canada.

The Programme is accredited to the International Standard ISO 65 / EN45011.

Participation in the Salmon Quality Assurance Programme is voluntary and the Programme currently has Standards for

• Product Quality
• Label Rouge
• Organic
• Eco-Label
• BRC
• Traceability (ISO22005)

Only companies that can meet the strict standards throughout the supply chain can use the coveted SEAFOOD TRUST mark.

Programme Aim
The Certified Quality Salmon Programme and SEAFOOD TRUST Mark is designed to transparently demonstrate the integrity of product and processes used in the production and processing of salmon by participating company members.

The Certified Quality Salmon Programme aims to deliver consistent Quality Certified Salmon products to the marketplace and thereby enhance consumer confidence through traceability to best practice.

The Programme is independently managed by Global Trust Certification Ltd and supported and endorsed by leading retailers and consumers through the Consumer Association.
